There may be a number of reasons why we run, but in the end we’re all in search of one thing - that feeling. Even though we may like hitting numbers, racing and competing, there is something deep inside of us that pulls on us to do what we do.
The only way to get there, hold on to it and come back to it, is by having some degree of fun and play. If you miss out on that, you’re missing the point.
The point is the journey.
What shapes you is to go on that journey, to put in the work and ask yourself how good you can be, regardless of the outcome. It’s about stepping into the arena and giving yourself a shot, knowing you’re the same person whether you reach your goals or not.
The magic is in the chase.
It all starts with showing up and putting in the work. Stress the system, then recover. Deliberate practise, intentional rest. Over and over, for a long time. No shortcuts or magic formulas but instead, finding beauty in routine. It may not sound glamorous, but that’s how real progress works.
At Chase Endurance Coaching, we go back to the fundamentals. Rooted in science and evidence based practices, then tweaked to your own physiology and psychology. Because ultimately, to realise your athletic potential, many other factors than the training program come into play.
Your individual nature as both an athlete and a person are at the cornerstone of our approach and will be considered equally. This is where it all begins.
